Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin, PhD, Co-Founder

Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin, PhD, has served as the director of various philanthropic family foundations for over 30 years. In this role, she works with the dynamics and mechanics of families daily. Together with her husband, Dr. Stan Tatkin, Tracey founded the PACT Institute. Her sensitivity to family systems helps guide her in her position as co-executive of the PACT Institute. She educates mental health professionals nationally and internationally to successfully implement PACT, a Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy®. She also co-leads retreats and workshops for couples who want to improve their relationship. In addition to her leadership roles, she has been intimately involved at the ground level of humanitarian efforts worldwide. She studied business administration at UCLA and holds a masters of arts in philanthropic studies as well as a masters of public administration. Tracey received her doctorate from the Walden School of Public Policy.


Beverly Baker, Executive Director

Beverly is a business development and operations leader specializing in defining and executing growth strategies within start-up, mid-sized, and large organizations. She is particularly interested in leading organizations through growth and scaling phases. Data driven but people focused, she favors collaborative teams and strategic partnerships. She has guided complex initiatives resulting in a substantial increase of revenue and market share across a range of industries including media, education, health, entertainment, and travel. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA focusing in digital media management from St. Edward’s University.


Marla Katz, Director of Communication

Marla has 20 years of experience in communications and social marketing. She has designed and implemented national communications strategies related to youth development and ending homelessness. She’s led award-winning teams responsible for communications planning, website design, and content development. Now, Marla gets to highlight and show off all the wonderful work of the PACT Institute and support PACT therapists to expand their impact within the therapist community. Marla holds a B.A. in Clinical Psychology/Child Development and an M.A. in Child and Family Policy, both from Tufts University.


Evie Hunter, PACT Training Manager

Evie Hunter, our PACT training coordinator, enjoys organization and helping people communicate well with each other. She is a trainer and facilitator by trade and works with youth in her community and as the Assistant Dean of Diversity and Inclusion at Delaware Valley University. Evie continues to produce large scale higher education programs, including a women’s summit that speaks to the needs and development of university and young adult women who are entering and in their first years of the workforce. She has worked in the classroom, teaching first-year university students, and has acted as a first-year advisor for several semesters.  Evie is also no stranger to working with employees around DEI topics, whether through training, facilitating difficult conversations, or managing resource groups. Evie is passionate about rest, healing, and transformative justice. She holds a Masters in Counseling and Mental Health from the University of Pennsylvania and is a NIXLA Fellow.


Nicci Justice, Administrative Assistant

Nicci Justice is our administrative assistantandyour first point of contact here at the PACTInstitute. She has worked in customer service, finance, community outreach, health and wellness, andwith a range of brands both big and small on their social media branding and marketing. Niccigraduated from California State University, Fullerton as valedictorian of her class with a BA in Communications. She loves working in her community, as she has an extensive volunteer background in community advocacy work. Nicci is passionate about building relationships, entertainment, health and fitness, and positively impactingpeople on a global scale through social media.

Stephani Halderman, Digital Product Manager

Stephani Halderman has over 20 years of experience in the field of web creation and coding. She specializes in working with businesses to help them create and automate their online presence and help their business flourish in all aspects. Stephani has worked with dozens of companies to help them streamline their funnels, automate their processes, and create a website that speaks for the company’s purpose. With the goal of providing a hands-off approach for business owners, Stephani takes charge of making sure the company’s digital world is both efficient and organized, leaving more time for her clients to do what matters most, working with their customers and growing their business! When she’s not creating and coding, she’s likely hiking in the woods, reading, knitting, or relaxing over coffee with family and friends.


Shea Depmore, Social Media Manager

Shea is an actor and digital content creator. She has created digital content for mental health clinicians and professionals in the entertainment industry. She helps us spread the word about secure-functioning relationships on social media.
 

Lauren Kozak, Marketing Consultant

Lauren Kozak is a digital strategy consultant with 18 years experience, specializing in social media and audience development. She ran social media for everyone, from the LA Times to Britney Spears, and now runs a boutique consultancy, Emotional Experience Marketing.  She loves helping PACT spread Stan’s positive message. Secure-functioning relationships can make the world a better place and make us all happier — Lauren can’t think of a better use of social media than that. 


Karen Aroian, Content Editor

A lifelong writer and editor, Karen has a knack for cultivating new and established subject-matter experts to help them polish content for publication. She edits most of the PACT Institute content you read and is the editor of Stan Tatkin’s 2023 book, In Each Other’s Care.  Karen began her career in the editorial offices of Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston, working with America’s finest editors and authors. Through the years, she has led teams of editors and writers at major publishing and marketing firms. Karen begins every weekday with a three-mile walk and ends every year having  traveled somewhere in the world with great art and architecture.
