Welcome to the PACT outcome study!

This outcome study of PACT is seeking to evaluate the effectiveness of PACT as it is currently delivered in private practice. Participants will play an important role in clinical research by helping to test and improve psychotherapy for couples.

If you have received our flyer from your new PACT therapist, you are invited to participate in this study. Participants are asked to fill out questionnaires at the beginning of their PACT therapy and at a few timepoints in the year following. Questionnaires can be filled out on your own time and at home. After the final assessment, there is a $50 reward for each individual to thank you for your time.

You can go here to find out if you are eligible: https://qualtricsxmf96ncjgl5.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0wXxOy0FC8w0v7U

No, neither your partner or therapist will have access to any of your questionnaire data or other information given.

All research processes, including filling out questionnaires for the study, will be conducted remotely on your own personal device and at times that are convenient for you.

We estimate filling out the questionnaires for the study will take 20-30 minutes each for the baseline, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month assessments. This comes to a total of no more than 2 hours filling out questionnaires over the course of a year.

No, you and your therapist will decide when to end couples therapy and this is not affected by the study. The assessments will be collected regardless of whether you've finished PACT therapy.

A $50 gift card will be given to individual participants completing the study.

You can discontinue the study at any time.

Our research team will reach out to you at each timepoint, so you are not responsible for keeping track of assessments.
