The PACT Institute Policy on Ongoing PACT Education

In order to grow the next generation of leadership within the PACT Institute and effectively support new PACT students at the same time, the Institute will accept applications from high-level PACT clinicians to teach and consult through the Institute. Currently, the Institute will accept applications from Level 3 graduates only.

The PACT Institute will provide marketing, logistical, and technical support for these approved PACT courses.

The following FAQs provide more information on important distinctions between offering a course through the Institute and not offering a course through the Institute.

We cannot. While in the past we have allowed training coaches to announce their availability to consult, we no longer allow those announcements in training. Instead, as we move forward, we will provide increasing teaching and leadership opportunities through the Institute for high-level PACT clinicians. Once the Institute approves course proposals, we will support our new instructors with PACT marketing, registration, and technical support. This is to ensure PACT quality control and the ability to track the Institute’s student progress.

We love them! We encourage PACT professionals to organize regionally, or around topics, or form affinity groups. As long as these groups do not charge a fee, you are welcome to organize and share them via the PACT Google Group.

No. Keep doing what you’re doing! While we will not announce activities happening outside of the PACT Institute, we support your commitment to ongoing learning and practice.

If the group does not charge a fee, feel free to share via the PACT Google Group. If the group does charge a fee, posting on the PACT Google Group is considered marketing and is not permitted. If you are interested in running a group through the PACT Institute, please submit a course proposal.

For high-level PACT training that has requirements for ongoing education, these requirements can only be fulfilled through Institute-managed courses, including case analysis labs, book clubs, and peer consultation groups offered through the Institute. Consultation that takes places outside the scope of the Institute will not fulfill requirements for ongoing PACT training.
